DOG DAYCARE & BOARDING · BUILT FOR THE PACK
The 7am drop-off rush
shouldn’t cost you bookings.
Sniffs.ai picks up every call, DM, and text during your drop-off and pickup spikes. Confirms vaccination records. Handles half-day vs full-day vs overnight pricing. Knows your capacity before saying yes.
Free demo. No credit card. Live in under 90 seconds.
DAYCARE IS A DIFFERENT BEAST
Generic AI receptionists treat daycare like grooming. It isn’t.
Daycare runs on windows, not appointments. On capacity, not slots. On repeat regulars, not first-timers. On vaccination records, not breed pricing. Sniffs is built around all four.
WINDOWS, NOT SLOTS
Drop-off and pickup spans, not appointment times
A daycare booking is "drop off between 7–9am, pick up between 4–6pm." Sniffs treats those as windows, books across the day, and confirms the right pickup with the customer.
CAPACITY-AWARE
Knows when the pack is full
You set daily capacity once. Sniffs reads against today's confirmed bookings before saying "yes, we have space." No more eight Doodles showing up at 7am with seven kennel runs available.
VACCINATION-FIRST
Records before paws on floor
DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, fecal — Sniffs asks for the documents at booking, lets the customer text/email them in, and flags the booking as pending records until your team verifies.
WHERE DAYCARE OWNERS LEAK REVENUE
Four moments most daycare ops botch.
The 7am call flood
You're checking in 12 dogs at the door. Phone rings — it's a regular asking if they can drop off late today. You can't pick up. Sniffs handles it: confirms the late drop-off window, updates the calendar, and you get the heads-up.
“Is Bordetella required?”
A new customer asks the question that decides whether they book or not. Sniffs answers from your configured policy ("Yes, within the last 6 months. Email it to records@..."), takes the booking pending records, and you verify when the file lands.
“We're stuck at the airport.”
Customer's flight got cancelled. They need an extra night. High-stress moment. Sniffs picks up on ring 1 in any channel, checks capacity for tomorrow, quotes the extra night, confirms — owner can finally exhale.
“It's Cooper's mom!”
Cooper boards every other Tuesday. When his owner calls, Sniffs recognizes the phone number, pulls Cooper's profile, and skips intake. "Booking Cooper for Tuesday again?" Done in 30 seconds.

DAYCARE FAQ
The questions every daycare owner asks before signing up.
Does Sniffs handle daycare drop-off and pickup windows?
Yes. Daycare bookings are window-based, not appointment-based. Sniffs supports drop-off windows (e.g. 7–9am) and pickup windows (e.g. 4–6pm) per service. The agent confirms the window with the customer, books inside it, and writes a calendar event spanning the full day.
Can it confirm vaccination records before booking?
Yes. You configure required documents per service (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, fecal). When a new customer books, Sniffs asks for the records, lets them text or email the file, and flags the booking as "pending records" until you verify them. No more new dogs showing up at drop-off without paperwork.
How does pricing work for half-day vs full-day vs boarding?
You configure tiered pricing in Settings: half-day, full-day, multi-day boarding, premium board (overnight + walks). Sniffs picks the right tier based on how the customer describes their need. "Drop her off at 9 and pick up at 1" → half-day. "Going out of town Friday-Sunday" → 3-night boarding.
Will it manage temperament-based group composition?
Sniffs flags temperament concerns the customer raises ("she's a bit reactive with bigger dogs," "he doesn't love puppies") and creates the booking with a note attached. Group composition itself stays in your hands — that's a daily judgment call your handlers make at drop-off, and we don't pretend to automate it.
Does it handle boarding extensions and last-minute changes?
Yes. "We're stuck at the airport, can you keep her one more night?" is a high-stress moment for owners. Sniffs picks up immediately on any channel, checks calendar availability for the extension night, quotes the additional charge, and confirms. The owner gets peace of mind in 90 seconds.
What about repeat clients?
Daycare is mostly repeat business. Sniffs remembers each pet by name, breed, vaccination expiration, and last booking. When a regular calls, the agent recognizes them ("Hi! Booking Cooper for Thursday again?") instead of asking the same intake questions every time.
How does it handle the dreaded "do you have space?" call?
You configure daily capacity in Settings. Sniffs reads current bookings against capacity before answering availability questions. Customer asks "do you have space Friday?" — agent says yes or no based on the actual count. No more "let me check and call you back."
Is it cheaper than answering service for daycare?
Daycare gets call volume in two spikes: 7–9am drop-off and 4–6pm pickup. A traditional answering service charges per call answered regardless of outcome — those spikes are expensive. Sniffs charges only when a booking confirms, so the rush hours don't bleed money. Most daycare owners run ~$40–80/mo on Sniffs vs $400+ on call centers.
